How do I update the OKX App on iPhone?

Updating on iPhone requires an Apple ID that supports downloading the app. To ensure you enjoy a smoother and more secure experience, we continuously improve the OKX App's features and security. For the best results, we recommend keeping your app up to date. Here's how:

Method 1: when a new version of the OKX App is released, a pop-up update notification will appear on the homepage. Swipe Update Now in the pop-up to download and install the latest version.

Method 2: you can also tap the all-features icon in the Menu (nine-dot icon) option of the App homepage, go to About OKX > Check for Updates > Update Now to download and install the latest version.

Note: if you've already created a wallet, make sure to securely back up your seed phrase and private key and store them somewhere safe. If lost, they cannot be recovered, and the assets in your wallet will be permanently inaccessible.

Download or update troubleshooting

OKX doesn't appear in the App Store

Confirm that the App Store is signed in to the intended Apple ID and review its country/region. Don't rely on search ads or third-party download pages.

Download keeps spinning, or installation/update fails

Change networks, free storage, restart the device, and update iOS to a newer version supported by the device. Then retry from the official App Store page.
If the app still shows an old version after updating, fully close and reopen it. You can also go to OKX app > Menu > About OKX > Check for Updates.
